Sun Yuchen invests $30 million in Trump family's DeFi project WLFI
Recently, Sun Yuchen announced an investment of $30 million in the Trump family's DeFi project World Liberty Financial (WLFI), exceeding its minimum sales target. According to WLFI's "Gold Paper", the Trump family is expected to receive at least $15 million. This investment has drawn widespread attention in the market.
The WLFI project's "Gold Paper" details its mission and token distribution plan. The Trump family will receive 75% of the project's net profits while assuming no liabilities. This arrangement is uncommon in the crypto industry and has sparked considerable discussion.
The remaining 25% of the net profits will belong to the Axiom Management Group (AMG), fully owned by project co-founders Chase Herro and Zachary Folkman. AMG has agreed to allocate half of the profit rights to Trump associate Steve Witkoff and affiliated companies of his family members, WC Digital Fi.
