According to Bitcoin.com, data shared by the Central Bank of Bolivia shows that the country's crypto activity is overheating. According to the agency's data, after the bank lifted a comprehensive ban on crypto operations earlier this year, the buying and selling of digital assets grew by 112%. More than 252,000 Bolivians hold digital assets and complete transactions on various platforms. Bank President Edwin Rojas Ulo pointed out that the transaction volume for these operations exceeded 75 million dollars in the past four months (from July to October 2024), which is a significant increase compared to the 46.4 million dollars in transactions in the first and second quarters of 2024.
