Elon Musk will be a kind of minister of austerity during Donald Trump's second presidential term. Aside from legislation, he apparently found another area of concern. He believes that creating modern fighter jets is pointless. And he likely doesn't have too many supporters, as he criticizes precisely the advanced aircraft of the U.S. Air Force. "Meanwhile, some idiots are still building manned fighters like the F-35," the entrepreneur wrote on his online service X.

In the video attached to the tweet, hundreds of drones can be seen flying in formation in the sky.

"Manned combat aircraft are already redundant in the age of drones. Fighters are very expensive and only kill pilots," Musk commented.

The reaction was expected: the army of Musk's supporters backed the entrepreneur. Others disagreed and tried to argue with the facts: one cannot compare commercially available mini-drones with a modern fighter.
