COTI Roundup — November 2024
November was packed with exciting developments, from groundbreaking announcements like Privacy-on-Demand to high-profile partnerships and industry-leading events. As 2024 comes to a close, the team is focused on strengthening the COTI ecosystem and prepping for the milestones ahead.
Here is a roundup of Novembers highlights including ecosystem expansion, media buzz, and a glimpse into what’s next as we prepare for a transformative year ahead.
Setting New Standards with Privacy-on-Demand
In November, COTI announced its Privacy-on-Demand solution, a groundbreaking cross-chain privacy initiative. Following a successful proof of concept, COTI’s solution seeks to enables privacy provision across 70+ blockchains — including both EVM and non-EVM chains — such as Ethereum, Solana, and Polygon. This innovation allows enterprises and dApps to leverage COTI’s confidentiality features from across all major blockchains, without altering their existing infrastructure. You can watch the demo here presented by our Head of Product Daniel Gruesso.
COTI’s VP of R&D, Guy Mesika, led a Developer Session showcasing hands-on examples of Privacy-on-Demand in action. Watch the session back here. The demo highlighted two examples:
Data can be secured by Garbled Circuits and stored on COTI, allowing it to be queried while remaining encrypted.
Data can be stored by a third party and sent to COTI only when secure computation is required, i.e., ‘on-demand’.
Privacy-on-Demand sets a new standard for privacy by enabling use cases such as private age verification, protected metadata, and compliant confidential transactions. This marks a significant milestone in removing barriers to blockchain adoption, enhancing usability, and scaling privacy in the decentralized ecosystem.
Key partnerships bring new use cases to the COTI Ecosystem
Over the past month, we were thrilled to reveal collaborations with five high-profile partners that will be using COTI’s privacy infrastructure in groundbreaking new use cases. We will share more details about these partnerships in the coming weeks but here’s a sneek peek:
Bancor: COTI’s tech stack will integrate into Bancor’s Carbon DeFi and Arb Fast Lane, offering private functionalities to traders alongside existing advanced features.
NFA: Describing themselves as ‘decentralized hedge fund experiment’, NFA is transforming the way users discover, evaluate, and act on cryptocurrency opportunities. Users can swipe through an AI-curated TG miniapp to find the perfect investment ‘match’. We are working with the team to integrate COTI’s privacy layer for the benefit of their trader and the wider community. Check them out at NFA.club.
BAND Protocol: This blockchain-agnostic, decentralized oracle platform will allow COTI V2 dApps to access information in a trustless environment.
Syncra: Syncra is a no-code DAO deployment platform with plans to incorporate COTI’s private voting technology, enabling secure decision-making in Web3 environments.
Axelar: Integration with Axelar’s Amplifier technology will enable COTI to extend cross-chain privacy to over 70 blockchains, including non-EVM chains. Web3 projects across all major blockchains will soon be able to leverage COTI’s privacy solution while maintaining their existing infrastructure, liquidity, and user base.
Privacy-Focused MomentumX Accelerator Launch
In November we partnered with leading IDO platform Poolz and were thrilled to launch the MomentumX Accelerator, aiming at driving the rapid and sustainable growth of the COTI ecosystem. This groundbreaking initiative seeks to foster a new wave of privacy-focused dApps built on COTIs fast, lightweight privacy layer. Read the full announcement here.
Startups will be able to access the MomentumX Boost Plan — a tailored support package that includes:
Up to $250k in funding per project
Marketing expertise
Legal and business dev support, and more
Applications are now open.

Coindesk featured COTI’s Privacy-on-Demand announcement in its Protocol Village series, alongside mentions in Blockster, Binance, The Street and others, highlighting its potential to revolutionize privacy across 71+ blockchains.
News of the MomentumX launch was picked up by Blockchain Reporter, Crypto Wisser and others. Meanwhile, COTI’s participation in Israel’s Digital Shekel Challenge continued to generate buzz. Crypto Intelligence described our privacy-first CBDC solution as a key step toward a digitized financial future, and CoinCodex, praised our innovative marketplace proposal as a model for decentralized asset management.
On the DeFi front, The News Crypto recognized COTI’s Layer 2 technology as a driving force behind a more expansive and efficient decentralized ecosystem, emphasizing its role in reducing slippage and protecting transaction privacy.
In addition to numerous speaking opportunities at Devcon, CEPO Joshua Maddox appeared on BlockHash to discuss how COTI is shaping the future of privacy and scalability in blockchain. We also revealed an interview with Joshua Maddox and Band Protocol, now official COTI partners. Decrypt hosted an interview with COTI CEO Shahaf Bar-Geffen, and we eagerly await the release of an interview with Charles Hoskinson and Shahaf Bar-Geffen for Blockster. The discussion centered on privacy and Midnight, a new cross-chain protocol. Stay tuned for the release of the full episode.
