Singing bearish on Bitcoin for ten years! Are there really such quirky experts abroad?

There are always these figures online who inexplicably have safe channels for their voices in the media, garnering huge attention, but often become the laughingstock of the internet due to their extremely radical and strange statements. For example, the classic saying from the well-known domestic professor Lang Xianping, 'I wouldn't want 100 BTC even if you gave it to me for free!'

There is an economist in the United States named Nouriel Roubini, who predicted last month that the U.S. economy would stagnate once Trump took office. He often claims that economies around the world will collapse and will be out of control, earning him the nickname 'Dr. Doom.' His vocabulary is probably limited, with 'collapse' being one of his favorite words.

He also has another famous statement, which is his continuous bearish outlook on Bitcoin for ten years, from when Bitcoin was a few hundred dollars to now almost a hundred thousand dollars.

Every time Bitcoin drops, he smugly claims that his judgments have never been wrong, waiting for a crash, saying that Bitcoin will eventually go to zero. But after a while, when Bitcoin rises again, he avoids talking about this issue and starts to loudly discuss other topics, such as how Trump will lead to stagnation. This is very similar to Professor Lang; Roubini keeps being wrong but it doesn’t affect his status as a media darling. Every time he publishes an article, not only do mainstream media outlets publish it, but it is also translated into various languages and widely circulated, and he often attends various high-level forums to give reports.
