WLD price soars as Worldcoin tests new ID certification system

The price of Worldcoin (WLD) has surged due to the trial implementation of a new ID certification system, called World ID, in several countries such as Chile, Colombia, Malaysia, and South Korea. This system allows users to receive WLD tokens without the need to scan their iris, thereby expanding accessibility and attracting new users. These changes have generated significant interest from the investment community, helping the price of WLD rise sharply to a five-month high of 3.03 USD, before adjusting back down.

Thanks to the increase in daily active addresses (DAA) and the rising open interest in the futures market, indicating that the demand for trading WLD is heating up. The optimism from the announcement about World ID has prompted many analysts to forecast that the price of WLD could reach 12 USD in the future if the growth trend continues.
