Jeffries noted that thanks to the swift response from law enforcement, no devices were found, and the congressional members and their families were safe during the holidays.

Some Democratic lawmakers from Connecticut stated they were targeted during the Thanksgiving incidents, including Representatives Jim Himes, Rosa DeLauro, and Jahana Hayes. They posted the threats they received on the social media platform X.
