Multiple Democratic lawmakers in the U.S. received bomb threats signed 'MAGA' during Thanksgiving

According to Deep Tide TechFlow news on November 30, U.S. House Democratic leader Hakeem Jeffries reported that during Thanksgiving, members of the party faced 'violent threats,' including bomb warnings and false alarms to law enforcement attempting to lure SWAT teams to the detriment of homeowners. Previously, cabinet nominees of then-elected President Donald Trump had also faced similar incidents.

Regarding the incidents involving Democratic lawmakers, including 'detailed threats of placing pipe bombs in mailboxes and attempts to lure SWAT teams out, all the information was signed off with 'MAGA',' Jeffries said in a statement on Friday. The 'MAGA' he referred to is Trump’s political slogan 'Make America Great Again.' Jeffries stated that thanks to the swift response of law enforcement, no devices were found, and members of Congress and their families remained safe during the holiday period.

Some Democratic lawmakers from Connecticut indicated they were targeted during the Thanksgiving incident, including Representative Jim Himes, Rosa DeLauro, and Jahana Hayes. They posted the threats they received on the social media platform X.
