$ALGO

Watch and you'll understand why algo has surged in recent days.

I've seen some people question the use of #Algorand in real projects, because unfortunately, some third parties either do not recognize $ALGO as an RWA project or focus purely on its tokenization aspect.

Here are some real projects that have already adopted #Algorand rails and are using them daily.

In most cases, users do not realize that #blockchain is being employed = real-world adoption, no hype, no marketing, just using #blockchain that fits the purpose.

So far, over 15 million tickets have been sold in NFT form for 3 airlines (with another 60 airlines in negotiation and about to join). On average, TravelX processes 22 million transactions on Algorand each month. The secondary market for ticket sales is very active. Most passengers using TravelX are unaware that blockchain is running in the background to make all of this happen.

Over 100,000 independent customers use their app to purchase daily necessities and pay utility bills. Over 30% of Afghanistan's electricity bills are paid through this app (about $40 million per month). Afghanistan is the pilot/initial jurisdiction, and they provided a banking proof for those who cannot open a bank account. Asian and African countries are joining.

Tokenization has been done for over 160 residential properties in the U.S. (some of which are Airbnb), with payments made to holders daily (minimum investment of $50). There is an active secondary market with LP.

The first tokenized money market fund was established on #Algorand after Archax issued tokenized interests in abrdn's €3.8 billion money market fund.

Music royalties are paid through the Algorand rails. To date, over 30,000 investors have paid more than $6.4 million.

Tokenization of precious metals (with $5.7 million tokenized to date).

All earthquakes and all solar flares are recorded on the #Algorand chain.

All chess matches are recorded on the Algorand chain. On average, 6 million matches are recorded on #Algorand rails each month.

Using Algorand technology to track part of the coffee supply.

FIFA's official NFT store, for collecting unforgettable moments and reserving World Cup tickets. So far, over 1.2 million NFTs have been sold to its 25,000 unique customers (mostly ordinary people unaware of the blockchain technology behind it). Additionally, there is an active secondary market, with the largest secondary sale to date being $7,000.

There is more, but the above use cases should make anyone questioning #Algorand's adoption realize that real-world projects are using the #Algorand rails.
