ChainCatcher message, BitMEX Research revealed on platform X that the court rejected the appeal request from "Australia's Craig Wright (CSW)" against the crypto open patent alliance (COPA). If CSW wishes to continue the appeal, the only way is to go to the UK Supreme Court.

After losing the case, the court issued an injunction against CSW, prohibiting him from filing lawsuits claiming to be Satoshi Nakamoto. However, CSW seems to ignore the injunction and has initiated a large-scale lawsuit in the UK against Bitcoin developers and multiple crypto companies, claiming the amount involved exceeds $1 trillion.

COPA alleges that the new case violates the injunction, and the case has been suspended, with a hearing scheduled for December 18, 2024, in London, where CSW is required to attend in person. Whether CSW will attend remains uncertain.
