The legal dispute between Ripple and the SEC continues to ferment, despite recent progress. Ripple has attracted much attention because the US court approved its request to speed up the final ruling of the XRP lawsuit.
The ruling seems to indicate that the protracted lawsuit may end early. Some observers even believe that this decision coincides with the resignation of SEC Chairman Gary Gensler in January, which is quite meaningful.
However, legal expert Bill Morgan clarified a key misunderstanding: this approval is actually not directly related to the SEC's enforcement action against Ripple.
He pointed out that the request was for a private civil lawsuit in California, not a formal case between the SEC and Ripple.

In addition to legal developments, XRP exchange-traded funds have also become the focus of market attention.
Companies such as WisdomTree, Bitwise and Canary Capital have submitted XRP ETF applications in an effort to create a compliant XRP investment channel. However, the SEC has not yet approved any XRP ETF proposal.
