Deep Tide TechFlow News, on November 28, according to DL News, Jackie Sawicky, the founder of the Texas Anti-Crypto Mining Alliance, announced the dissolution of the organization, ending three years of opposition to crypto mining activities. The alliance had 800 members and had repeatedly protested against the operations of Bitcoin mining companies in the local area.

Data shows that Texas Bitcoin mining companies currently consume 2,600 megawatts of electricity, equivalent to the electricity consumption of 2.6 million households. Sawicky stated that the pro-crypto policies following Trump's election as president would make anti-mining efforts more difficult. She pointed out that the Texas government has attracted mining companies by providing cheap energy and favorable policies, exacerbating local grid and water resource pressures.
