Japanese giant Remixpoint invests 3.2 million USD in Bitcoin
The Japanese company Remixpoint has invested 3.2 million USD in Bitcoin in response to the depreciation of the Japanese Yen, which has fallen over 7.15% against the USD since September 16. This deal is equivalent to about 500 million Yen and is seen as a strategic hedge against the current difficult financial situation.
Additionally, Remixpoint plans to purchase another 500 million Yen in Bitcoin, bringing the total value of their cryptocurrency asset portfolio to approximately 3.5 billion Yen (about 22.92 million USD) by the end of 2024. The company has shown significant interest in the cryptocurrency market, and these products have been attracting strong cash flows recently.
The increase in investment in Bitcoin not only reflects Remixpoint's optimistic sentiment but also aligns with a broader trend of investment in cryptocurrencies globally, despite market adjustments.
