Due to the uncertainty regarding how Trump's policy intentions will affect key areas of the U.S. economy, a Fed rate cut in December no longer seems certain. Kathy Jones, Chief Fixed Income Strategist at Charles Schwab, stated, "At this moment, I believe uncertainty is at a very high level, everything is in flux, and it could go in many different directions. I think the Fed might want to pause for a moment and say, 'You know what, we need to sit back and watch how things unfold.'" Jones indicated that she will be looking at the Fed's minutes from the November meeting to find more clues about the intentions of the decision-makers. (Jinshi)
