• XRP News: XRP Ledger (XRPL) Faces Downtime, Here's What We Know

According to insider information, #XRP #Ledger is experiencing a short-term downtime.

no significant losses due to network failures during the downtime have been reported.

#Ripple is creating the ledger to demonstrate strength against the backdrop of RLUSD testing.

WietseWind, a prominent developer and member of the #XRP Ledger (XRPL) community, noticed one simple thing. In a post published on the XRP news website, WietseWind said: "It doesn't work this means that some network functions are working, but not critical components.

According to Witsevind's description, the full history server and the Ripple cluster do not have a current registry.

For clarity, the full history server refers to a dedicated node that stores all of XRPL's transaction history. Critical issues have affected data access and network reliability, resulting in downtime for these servers.

additionally, due to the failure of the ripple cluster, it is impossible to perform validation. This is because "no current ledger available" on a node means that you cannot access the latest state of the ledger. This access remains critical for transaction processing.

But a few hours later, Witsewind updated the community on the situation. In another post, he said that most nodes have resumed normal operations.

"Most nodes are returning to the single registry and closing the registry again, he wrote.

This indicates that the node has successfully started validating and adding new transactions to the xrp registry. Additionally, since nodes with full history are synchronized, no past transaction data is lost.

Developers at XRPL Labs noted that the network appears to have recovered without patching. According to experts, this emphasizes the stability of the blockchain.

Despite the failure, no extensive manual intervention was required to restore performance.
