According to Deep Tide TechFlow news, on November 26, Cointelegraph reported that the Ethereum Layer 2 network Base set a historical high of 106.26 transactions per second (TPS), an increase of nearly 28% compared to November 23. The network's total locked value (TVL) has surpassed the 10 billion USD mark, reaching 10.68 billion USD, making it the second largest Ethereum Layer 2 network after Arbitrum One (18.3 billion USD).

Base founder Jesse Pollak stated that the average TPS of the network was only 4 in January this year. The total locked value of Ethereum Layer 2 solutions has now reached 49.3 billion USD. Base implemented its proof of error mechanism at the end of October this year, which is an important part of its gradual decentralization plan.
