The Pump.fun platform has turned into a paradise for financial scammers, especially for those who practice rug pulls. Recently, a schoolboy created the meme coin QUANT, quickly raised $30,000, and disappeared, leaving investors with worthless tokens. However, his identity was quickly discovered, and a harassment campaign was organized against him and his family.
Due to such cases, some users are demanding the platform be shut down. Others believe it is sufficient to disable only the streams.
Aspiring lawyer Eddie criticized the platform's management. He believes that the streams need to be turned off or heavily moderated.
"Shocking content in streams should have meaning. Simply showing inappropriate or horrible things is primitive. People need interesting stories and ideas. What is currently shown on Pump is meaningless and low-quality content," Eddie believes.
