DONALD TRUMP CONSIDERING TO APPOINT ANOTHER CRYPTOCURRENCY INDUSTRY FIGURE TO A HIGH LEVEL POSITION IN THIS ADMINISTRATION

Donald Trump's administration is reportedly considering appointing another cryptocurrency industry figure to a high-level position. This move is part of Trump's pro-crypto agenda, which aims to boost the US crypto industry and streamline regulations.

The potential appointee is Kelly Loeffler, the former CEO of cryptocurrency platform Bakkt and a staunch Trump ally, who is being considered for the position of Secretary.

Trump's transition team is also discussing the creation of a new White House post solely dedicated to cryptocurrency policy. This role would oversee crypto policy, collaborate with Congress on legislation, and work towards creating a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve.

The proposed council would work with federal agencies like the SEC, CFTC, and Treasury to create consistent crypto regulations and streamline enforcement. Trump's team also plans to undo President Joe Biden's stringent enforcement actions, ensuring crypto companies maintain access to banking services and are positioned as a strategic economic asset.
