Bitcoin will hesitate before reaching 100K, while ETH is chasing with altcoins❗
Before Bitcoin reaches the threshold of 100K, it is indecisive. It is clearly just a breath away, yet it cannot break through. For BTC itself, the number 100K doesn't hold much significance, but for the cryptocurrency market, 100K is a very important psychological barrier. The reason why Bitcoin rises and causes tens of thousands to be liquidated is that many short sellers have set their psychological price level at this threshold of 100K.
Of course, we know that 100K will inevitably be broken; the logic is simple. The PMI continues to improve, and the Federal Reserve will also continue to cut interest rates in December. Liquidity is continuously being released, and the underlying logic of all currencies in the crypto space is the liquidity of global assets. Q1 2025 is a quarter for further release of global asset liquidity and is evidently a quarter for the rise of cryptocurrencies. The current price level is just a phased target for BTC's continued assault.
However, this does not mean that there are no risks at the moment. The market fear index for Bitcoin has reached 80 today. From the extremely high level of 90+, it has started to cool down. The market has begun to realize the accumulation of risks. MicroStrategy's MSTR stock price has started to fluctuate wildly, further validating the power of short sellers. Sharp players in the market have already begun to hedge their risks.
So at this time, it is the moment when altcoins are in a frenzy. Opening the gain list, there are numerous altcoins that have increased by over 50% in just a few days, without logic, reference, or technology.
