NASA plans to carry out at least two large cargo missions.

IT Home reported on November 20 that both Blue Origin and SpaceX had previously received contracts from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) for the development of lunar landers for the Artemis crewed lunar landing mission.NASA announced today that it will allocate additional work to Elon Musk's SpaceX and Jeff Bezos's Blue Origin to provide a 'cargo version' lunar lander to transport large equipment and infrastructure to the lunar surface.

NASA plans to carry out at least two large cargo missions. The agency expects SpaceX's Starship cargo spacecraft to deliver a rover developed by JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) to the lunar surface no earlier than the 2032 fiscal year, to support Artemis VII and subsequent missions. IT Home notes that NASA also hopes Blue Origin will deliver a lunar surface habitat no earlier than the 2033 fiscal year. According to reports, SpaceX will continue to develop cargo landers and prepare the Starship cargo missions according to Option B of NextSTEP Appendix H. Blue Origin will conduct its cargo lander work and demonstration missions under NextSTEP Appendix P. NASA expects to issue a preliminary request for proposals to both companies in early 2025.#BabyMarvinf9c7火星狗
