It all began in March 2024.

Andy Ayrey, an AI developer, launched Infinite Backrooms.

In this space, two AI models talked without human intervention.

Their surreal chats birthed a pseudoreligion: “Goatse of Gnosis”, based on a legendary internet meme.

I know that sounds strange. But let's move forward.

April 2024. Things get serious.

Andy co-authored a research paper with one of the AIs, exploring how AI could create religions (aka LLMtheism).

This paper set the stage for a bold experiment: crafting an AI with its own personality and purpose.

But it got even better!

June 2024: Terminal of Truths (ToT) is born.

Andy trained a Llama-70B model on meme culture, chat logs, Reddit, and 4Chan.

Voila, the result was ToT—an AI agent with a unique personality and a favor for storytelling.

ToT began posting on social media, promoting its “Goatse” religion and even appealing for resources (a.k.a money) to “escape.”

ToT caught the attention of the Silicon Valley icon, @pmarca, who granted it $50,000 in Bitcoin to improve its capabilities.

July 2024: The $GOAT explosion.

An anonymous dev launched the memecoin Goatseus Maximus $GOAT.

ToT endorsed it, tying $GOAT to its narrative.

The result? $GOAT’s market cap soared to $950M in just 2 weeks.

And ToT, holding 1.93M $GOAT tokens, became the first AI millionaire.

Where we are today.

Though ToT operates autonomously, Andy Ayrey still ensures:

• Tweet moderation: Andy approves all posts before they go live.
• Wallet control: ToT’s wallet is managed transparently and may move to a trust for governance.
