According to Techub News, the decentralized lending platform HopeLend has initiated the full compensation process for user losses from the previous hacking incident. Compensation will be made in mainstream cryptocurrencies such as BTC, ETH, USDT, and USDC, and all HOPE native tokens will be converted to the above currencies based on the original minting ratio for payment.

Affected users need to fill out a repayment application form, and HopeLend will verify whether the application address is the address in debt to the protocol. After verification, transfer will be made directly without any additional actions required from the users. HopeLend emphasizes that the deadline for form submission is 3 months from today; late submissions will not be accepted. Once all compensations are completed, the HopeLend protocol will be officially closed.

It is reported that HopeLend was hacked on October 18, 2023, resulting in a loss of approximately 526 Ethereum.
