According to the New York Times, US President-elect Trump is considering a new candidate for Treasury Secretary: including former Federal Reserve Governor Kevin Warsh and Wall Street billionaire Marc Rowan. Trump was originally expected to choose Howard Lutnick, CEO of Wall Street firm Cantor Fitzgerald, or Scott Bessent, former fund manager of George Soros. But Trump has been reconsidering the top two candidates and has slowed down his selection process. He is expected to invite candidates to interview him at Mar-a-Lago this week.
