Italy's largest bank, Intesa Sanpaolo, expands crypto business and adds spot trading services

On November 15, Italy's largest bank, Intesa Sanpaolo SpA, is expanding its digital asset business scope and adding cryptocurrency spot trading services. The bank established a proprietary cryptocurrency trading department in the corporate and investment banking department in 2023, which was previously limited to cryptocurrency options, futures and ETF trading business.
