Deep Tide TechFlow News, on November 11, WalletConnect founder and CEO Pedro Gomes stated on social platform X that WCT claiming and staking will be launched on November 26.

Earlier news, WalletConnect announced the issuance of its native token Connect Token (WCT) on the Optimism mainnet. The initial supply cap for the WCT token is 1 billion, with a total of 18.5% of the initial token supply allocated for airdrops, of which 5% (50 million WCT) will be distributed in Season 1.
