This year's race for the White House is reaching a decisive stage as the election results in the swing states will play a crucial role in determining who will become President. Although the voting has ended, it may take several days to validate the votes and announce the final results.

Currently, there are 93 electoral votes awaiting allocation in seven swing states, including Georgia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Arizona, and Nevada. If Kamala Harris and Donald Trump both win in the states they are expected to secure easily, Harris will need an additional 44 electoral votes from these states to reach the required number. Meanwhile, Trump will need 51 votes to win.

In the early results, former President Donald Trump won in several red states like Florida and Texas. Vice President Kamala Harris also achieved significant victories in New York, Illinois, and other states in the Northeast. However, the results in the swing states have yet to be announced, as the vote counting is still underway.

The voting process also faced some disruptions, as bomb threats emerged at some polling locations, but none of the threats were deemed credible.

A notable point in this election is that for the first time in the history of the U.S. Senate, there will be two women of color serving together. They are Congresswoman Lisa Blunt Rochester from Delaware and Angela Alsobrooks from Maryland.
