According to Dextools data, over 1,000 types of meme coins related to the U.S. election have been issued on Solana in the past 24 hours. More than 40 tokens related to presidential candidate Donald Trump have been issued on the Ethereum blockchain.

The trading volume of earlier launched political meme coins surged, including MAGA and the Kamala Harris-themed KAMA. MAGA launched in August 2023, and its trading volume soared by 27% within 24 hours, with a market cap exceeding $150 million. KAMA rose by 150% on November 1. Since then, it has fallen by 50%, with a market cap of $11 million.
