As the results of the U.S. election approach, how will the cryptocurrency market respond?
Regardless of who is elected, it will be a performance by the big players, after all, life is like a play and relies on acting skills.
Let me talk about my views on the current stage of the cryptocurrency market. I can say that most retail investors are holding altcoins, mainly focusing on low market cap altcoins, followed by meme coins. These coins often fall but do not rise, and occasionally they may get a bit crazy and show off.
How should we better respond in the future? If you have already missed out on the leading coins like BTC, ETH, SOL, there isn’t much meaning in buying them now if you don't hold any. It’s better to position yourself in mainstream coins, but definitely avoid buying small-cap altcoins again. Don’t think about tenfold or hundredfold returns; it’s already quite unlikely. A drop in a mainstream coin can wipe out half of a small altcoin, and now every new listing is just for selling off, unlike before. It will no longer rise just because it attracts a crowd; it’s slowly killing off the old players.
Why do big institutions invest in leading coins? Because they cannot afford to lose. Think about it, why do they usually pump the leading coins before altcoins? It’s the same reason you wouldn’t spend money at a club if you haven’t earned it. It’s expected that more and more coins will disappear by mid-next year, not because the projects are not good enough, but because they need to disappear! #美国大选后涨或跌? #美联储利率决议来袭 #美国选情僵持
