Real Vision's top crypto analyst Jamie Coutts believes Bitcoin could surge more than 155% from current levels in this market cycle.
Multiple price scenarios
In a recent interview with Raoul Pal on YouTube channel The Journey Man, Coutts suggested that, with the global money supply increasing, Bitcoin could break into six-digit territory. He explored several scenarios for Bitcoin's future price movements and offered insight into the potential outcomes.
Expected price target and probability
Considering the global M2 money supply, Coutts predicts that Bitcoin could reach around $100,000 by August 2025, although he considers this outcome less likely. Instead, he sees a target of $170,000 as more likely.
Coutts outlined four main price targets for Bitcoin, each with varying probabilities:
$100,000 with a 15% probability,
$170,335 with a 60% probability,
$234,000 with a 20% probability and
$500,000 with a probability of only 5%.
“I don’t believe Bitcoin will hit a parabolic high of $500,000 in this cycle,” Coutts clarified. “However, in the long run, it’s not impossible.”
As of this writing, Bitcoin is trading at $67,100, and Coutts' prediction suggests these goals could be reached within the next two and a half years. If achieved, Bitcoin's market capitalization could soar to around $3.75 trillion by August 2025.
For Bitcoin investors, these forecasts can serve as important reference points amid market volatility, although the volatility of the cryptocurrency market requires caution.
