Pi Network embraces tomorrow amidst criticism and doubts.
Pi Network is the most controversial project in the blockchain industry’s history. Although it doesn't truly count as a blockchain yet due to lack of open source, opening source just for the sake of it is bound to be formalism. Many public chains have countless coin issuances, but few are meaningful; they merely copy code and concepts continuously. Traffic has been monopolized by BTC, ETH, and semi-native public chains like BSC. Subsequently, the ecosystem derived from them has become mainstream, and ETH's revolutionary smart contracts have maintained the industry’s ecological development to this day.
Let’s talk about the past year or two. Sol has seen a glimmer of hope with improvements in scalability, TPS, and other aspects, claiming to be the Ethereum killer. Its performance has been relatively superior, but there is still a distance in ecological development; we'll leave that to the future, as it may not be possible in the short term.
