Foresight News reports that Zhang Yinghua, Chief Institutional Business Officer of Hong Kong digital asset listed company OSL, stated that Hong Kong Chief Executive John Lee recently mentioned in the 2024 Policy Address that he will continue to actively promote the tokenization of Real World Assets (RWA) and the digital currency ecosystem, viewing RWA as a new opportunity to achieve the integration of digital assets and traditional finance. Innovations such as the Hong Kong Monetary Authority's "Ensemble" sandbox program, mBridge, and e-HKD are all beneficial explorations aimed at achieving this goal. As an international financial center, Hong Kong possesses a rich financial services system, profound industry experience, a mature risk control mechanism, a complete trading infrastructure, and a large user base, all of which provide a solid foundation for the rapid on-chain and efficient safe trading of RWA assets. Currently, OSL is actively integrating its compliant digital asset services with traditional financial partners to promote the implementation of relevant business plans.
