Chinese national Yadi Zhang, accused of masterminding the £5.7 billion Chinese investment fraud, has denied all criminal charges at the start of his trial in the UK. The trial is set to begin properly in September next year. Earlier, UK authorities arrested Jian Wen, a Chinese national who allegedly assisted Yadi Zhang in laundering the crypto proceeds, and seized £1.7 billion worth of Bitcoin (61,000 BTC) in the largest crypto seizure in UK history. Jian Wen was found guilty in March of this year.
