Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse has praised the state of cryptocurrency regulation in Brazil, one of the largest crypto markets in Latin America, CoinVoice has learned.

In an interview with Valor Economico, Garlinghouse highlighted the work done by the Brazilian central bank to make the country attractive to crypto companies, saying, “Brazil is one of the fastest growing markets for the adoption of crypto assets and blockchain. The Brazilian central bank has been very constructive in terms of regulation, which creates opportunities.” Additionally, he hinted at turning Ripple’s office in São Paulo into a central hub for the company’s activities throughout Latin America to support tokenized value as an opportunity for organizations in the region.

He concluded: “I see an opportunity to explore blockchain for the tokenization of physical assets. I say this in the United States, Brazil, Europe, and around the world. This is an opportunity to get new investment.” [Original link]
