The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has granted “accelerated approval” to allow options trading and listing of 11 spot Bitcoin ETFs. In September, the agency first approved the listing of options on the iShares Bitcoin Trust on the Nasdaq ISE, LLC exchange.

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has approved NYSE American LLC to list and trade options on multiple spot bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs).

According to the document, the SEC granted "accelerated approval" to give the green light for options trading and listing of the following spot Bitcoin ETFs: Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund, ARK21Shares Bitcoin ETF, Invesco Galaxy Bitcoin ETF, Franklin Bitcoin ETF, VanEck Bitcoin Trust, WisdomTree Bitcoin Fund, Grayscale Bitcoin Trust BTC, Grayscale Bitcoin Mini Trust, Bitwise Bitcoin ETF, iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF and Valkyrie Bitcoin Fund.

The SEC approved these spot Bitcoin ETFs in January. The agency first approved options on the iShares Bitcoin Trust on the Nasdaq ISE, LLC exchange in September.
