[Gala Games introduces tokenized founder nodes on GalaChain for transfers]
Gala Games has announced that Founder’s Nodes can now be tokenized on GalaChain, allowing users to transfer these nodes between accounts. In the past, Founder’s Node licenses were non-transferable and tied to a user account, but this change now allows for greater flexibility.
Founder’s Nodes are an important part of the Gala Games ecosystem, allowing users to run nodes and earn GALA rewards. In April 2023, Gala Games launched a proposal that, after being voted on, would allow node tokenization and support future transfer functions.
Node authorization is now tokenized as an NFT and can be moved between accounts once converted into GalaChain tokens. To make a node transferable, users pay a fee equal to 60 days worth of average GALA rewards over the past week. Additionally, there are additional fees for restarting nodes and converting to NFTs. All fees are paid in GALA and burned from circulation, driving the deflationary effect of the token.
In addition to node tokenization, Gala Games is also expanding its ecosystem, partnering with Coinflow to introduce Google Pay and Apple Pay as payment options. These options are already available on the Gala Games store, with plans to expand functionality to the Gala Music and Gala Film platforms.
Currently, the GALA token price is around 0.02196, with a market cap of over 770 million, up 9.33% in the past seven days.
