Odaily Planet Daily News: According to people familiar with the matter and a regulatory filing, venture capital firm Khosla Ventures has raised a $405 million special purpose entity (SPV) to invest in OpenAI's $6.6 billion financing round. People familiar with the matter revealed that the SPV will be composed of funds provided by Khosla Ventures and external investors. Venture capitalists usually support startups, but they also pool funds through SPVs to participate in later financing rounds. Previously, Khosla Ventures participated in the investment of projects including: NEAR ecological blockchain infrastructure company Calimero Network, Worldcoin, investment application Seashell, Chain (XCN), etc.
