The SEC has hit the snooze button on deciding whether Cboe Exchange can list options tied to spot Ether (ETH) ETFs. Originally expected by Oct. 19, the new deadline is now Dec. 3.
Why the delay? The SEC is still mulling over a proposed rule change. Meanwhile, they did give a thumbs-up to options on iShares' spot Bitcoin ETF in September.
