Following Scroll’s listing on Binance Launchpool and the upcoming token airdrop, Optimism announced the fifth OP token airdrop on X platform early this morning (the query and claim address for the fifth OP token airdrop is: https://app.optlmlsm.io/airdrops/5). This airdrop has distributed more than 10 million OP tokens to more than 5.4 independent addresses; at the same time, it stated that as of the end of the fifth round of OP token airdrops, there are still about 550 million OP tokens available for future airdrop activities.
OP’s token airdrop is an unexpected surprise for most “money-grubbing” users. Therefore, once the token claiming news came out, major “money-grubbing” communities suddenly became lively. Although OP’s airdrop is not a “huge fortune” for most users, it is also a “luxury pig’s trotter meal” rewarded to real users:

Airdrop Rewards Overview
According to official documents, a total of 10,368,678 OP tokens were distributed to 54,723 independent addresses. The overall rules for the fifth OP token airdrop are as follows:
Addresses that interact with fewer than 20 unique contracts are not eligible for this airdrop;
Addresses with a contract-to-transaction ratio below 10% are not eligible to participate in this airdrop;
Addresses with a total reward amount below the minimum limit of 50 OP are not eligible to participate in this airdrop;
Base rewards are capped at 150 OP;
The total amount of rewards is capped at 3500 OP.

Basic Rewards
This token airdrop reward is for users who have interacted with ≥ 20 unique contracts on Hyperchain (activity on OP Mainnet, Base, Zora, Mode, Metal, Fraxtal, Cyber, Mint, Swan, Redstone, Lisk, Derive, BOB, Xterio, Polynomial, Race, and Orderly) during the qualification period from March 15, 2024 to September 15, 2024, and have a contract-to-transaction ratio (the ratio of the number of contracts an address interacted with to its total number of transactions) ≥ 10%, and the number of tokens rewarded is proportional to network usage.
Bonus Rewards
Optimism officially divides bonus rewards into seven categories, namely:
Active Delegator: During the qualification period from March 15, 2024 to September 15, 2024, the total number of authorized OPs x number of authorized days ≥ 9,000 days, and a total of 4,155 independent addresses meet the conditions;
Frequent User: Conduct at least 10 application transactions per week in ≥ 20 different weeks during the eligibility period from March 15, 2024 to September 15, 2024, with a total of 9,841 unique addresses meeting the criteria;
Superchain Explorer: Conducted at least 1 application transaction on ≥ 7 chains in Superchain during the qualification period from March 15, 2024 to September 15, 2024, with a total of 10,336 unique addresses meeting the criteria;
Early Superchain Adopter: Conducted at least 1 application transaction on ≥ 3 chains in the Superchain within the first week after the Superchain public mainnet release, and a total of 6,989 unique addresses met the conditions;
Quester: Complete ≥ 1 Optimism task between September 20, 2022 and January 17, 2023, with 14,113 unique addresses meeting the requirements;
SuperFest Participant: Perform tasks and participate in ≥ 5 SuperFests between July 9, 2024 and September 3, 2024. A total of 6,732 unique addresses meet the requirements;
SUNNYs Fan SUNNYs: Minted NFTs from ≥ 3 unique contracts registered to the SUNNYs during the qualification period from March 15, 2024 to September 15, 2024, with a total of 12,905 unique addresses qualifying.

The sudden airdrop of OP tokens is of great reference value to the "money-grabbing party". On the one hand, the Optimism project still reserves 550 million tokens for future airdrop activities, so a careful study of the rules of the previous rounds of airdrops may help to gain an advantage in the sixth round of airdrops. On the other hand, long-term active "boutique accounts" will become the key to the next "money-grabbing". Although many public chain projects have already issued coins, there is still a possibility of another airdrop in the future. Therefore, it may be an effective strategy to continue to pay attention to the ecological activities of these projects and keep the addresses active.
