According to records from the U.S. Bureau of Prisons (BOP), FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF) has been transferred to Victorville Medium II FCI, a medium-security federal prison in California. The facility is known for its high levels of violence and is referred to by inmates as “Victimville.”

Nasdaq has submitted a rule change application to the U.S. SEC to list the VanEck Avalanche (AVAX) spot ETF. The filing comes about a month after VanEck initially proposed the ETF. According to Bloomberg analyst James Seyffart, the market widely expects both AVAX and DOGE spot ETFs to be approved, with AVAX potentially receiving approval by the end of December and DOGE around mid-October.

U.S. President Donald Trump has signed a resolution repealing a crypto tax rule finalized during the final days of the Biden administration. The rule required custodial brokers to report user transaction data to the IRS and issue Form 1099s for non-employment income. The resolution, introduced by Republican lawmakers Ted Cruz and Mike Carey, was passed by both chambers of Congress.
