The scientific community is faced with problems of centralization and lack of incentives. One of the critics of this situation is Cardano co-founder Charles Hoskinson. Hoskinson called the traditional scientific publishing system “terribly broken” and argued that this problem could be solved with DeSci (decentralized science).

DeSci aims to make the peer-review process of scientific research more fair and incentivized. Instead of centralized structures, DeSci proposes that funds and protocols be managed through decentralized autonomous organizations.

Do you think DeSci can solve the problems of scientific publishing? We welcome your comments.
