According to ChainCatcher, Bitcoin Layer2 project Bitlayer completed a $9 million Series A+ financing round with a valuation of $300 million. This round of financing was led by Polychain Capital and co-led by Franklin Templeton. SCB Limited, Selini Capital, G-20.G roup and other investors also participated.

Bitlayer co-founder Charlie Hu revealed that the round of funding started in early August and closed last week, just three months after the company completed an $11 million Series A funding round.

Like its previous Series A round, Bitlayer’s Series A+ round uses a simple agreement for future equity (SAFE) structure with token warrants, and is valued at $300 million, both in terms of equity valuation and fully diluted token valuation. The latest round brings Bitlayer’s total raised to $25 million.
