1. $EIGEN's current status does not match its strength

At present, $EIGEN's market value ranks outside the top 100. In contrast, Chainlink's $LINK market value is 11 times its, and $TAO is 7 times its. After adjusting for FDV (fully diluted valuation), $LINK and $TAO are both twice as large as $EIGEN.

However, Eigenlayer has become the third largest TVL (total locked volume) protocol, with a total locked volume of $10 billion, almost close to AAVE's $11 billion. Despite this, AAVE's market value is still 3.7 times that of $EIGEN. But if adjusted by TVL, AAVE is actually half the price of $EIGEN.

2. Reasons for this

(1) Because $EIGEN is a "venture capital-backed, low circulation, high FDV token", many investors are unwilling to hold $EIGEN.

(2) The recent "unauthorized sell-off" has dealt a certain blow to Eigenlayer's image as a security protocol. (Event overview: The Eigenlayer team found in the investigation that approximately 1,673,645 EIGEN tokens were transferred and sold, and these tokens were originally locked.)

(3) $EIGEN lacks an attractive speculative story.
