Decimal Validator

The validator in the Decimal blockchain is a key element that ensures the security and functioning of the entire network. It is not just a node storing coins, but an important participant responsible for validating transactions and forming new blocks.

Mechanisms of validators in Decimal:
1. Consensus: Validators are involved in reaching consensus on each block and transaction;
2. Transaction validation: Validators check all incoming transactions for correctness;
3. Block Formation: They create and add new blocks to the blockchain;
4. Getting rewarded: Validators are rewarded for their work in native DEL coin;
5. Stake mechanism: Validators block a certain amount of coins as collateral, which ensures their integrity.

Decimal uses a PBFT consensus mechanism based on Tendermint, where ⅔+1 validators are required to agree to confirm the block.

The importance of validators in Decimal:
● Ensure network security;
● Keep the blockchain operational;
● Participate in network management;
● Allow delegators to earn money from staking.
