🚀【A new era of Bitcoin futures begins! 】🚀

Recently, CME Group's Bitcoin Friday Futures (BFF) debuted, with trading volume exceeding 31,498 contracts in just one week, and the first-day trading volume set a new record for crypto futures products! 📈

Financial companies Galaxy and Marex executed the first trade block. Michael Harvey, head of Galaxy's chartered trading, said that these weekly contracts closely track spot prices and provide traders with valuable tools to increase liquidity and optimize trading strategies. 💡

Giovanni Vicioso, global head of cryptocurrency products at CME Group, emphasized that these small-scale contracts and weekly expiration designs not only make it easier for investors to enter the Bitcoin market, but also manage Bitcoin risk exposure more effectively-all on regulated exchanges. 🔒

Previously, CME announced plans to launch BFF contracts on September 30, 2024, with each contract representing 1/50 of a Bitcoin, ensuring capital efficiency and accessibility. It expires every Friday at 4pm (EST), which is closer to the spot price of Bitcoin. ⏰

The Bitcoin market has added a new member of liquidity and risk management tools, and the future is promising! 🌟
