The European Commission has announced that 41 regulators have joined its Blockchain Sandbox initiative. The second cohort includes regulators from 22 EU and EEA countries, such as France, Spain, and Germany. 🧐

The project aims to support the use of distributed ledger technology (DLT) and remove legal barriers to blockchain innovation.

A total of 20 projects will be supported each year, receiving legal and regulatory assistance.
