Golden Finance reported that the Brazilian Supreme Court ordered that social media X must pay a fine of about 5.2 million US dollars before it can resume local services. Earlier, the social media controlled by American billionaire Musk had appointed a local legal representative and deleted inappropriate messages in accordance with the court order. Judge Alexandre de Moraes ruled on Friday that X must complete the payment of the 18.3 million riyals fine he ordered earlier, as well as the 10 million riyals fine he ruled last week for allowing some Brazilian users to use the social media during the ban, before it can resume operations in the country. The two fines totaled about 5.2 million US dollars.
