On September 23, according to the official announcement, Binance will upgrade account services at 14:30 (Eastern Time) on September 25, 2024 to improve system performance and stability. The upgrade takes about 3 hours. During the upgrade, all Binance services may be intermittently interrupted, including but not limited to: account login, registration, trading (spot, leverage, contract, C2C, etc.), VIP account services and other Binance account-related services. During the upgrade, each user may encounter service unavailability for a few minutes, and the service will return to normal after a few minutes.
Users' data and assets will not be affected by the upgrade; spot trading via API will not be affected during the upgrade; during the upgrade, users may experience a temporary inability to log in and/or take any action on their positions/orders; to avoid potential risks and losses during the system upgrade (including but not limited to the risk of forced liquidation and losses caused by market fluctuations), users should take necessary measures to evaluate and manage account positions and orders before the upgrade (for example: reduce leverage, increase margin and/or close positions or orders as you deem appropriate). Users are responsible for managing their trading positions, and Binance is not responsible for any related losses; the time required for the upgrade may vary based on actual conditions.
