ChainCatcher reported that according to Decrypt, American television legend and former "Late Night Show" host David Letterman appeared in Manhattan Federal Court to participate in jury selection for a cryptocurrency fraud case. According to ABC News, Letterman participated in the standard questioning process as a potential juror. During the questioning, Letterman showed his signature sense of humor, saying that he lived in "Hartford", Connecticut, and then clarified that it was just a joke. He also revealed that he is currently working for Netflix. Although Judge P. Kevin Castel said Letterman had a 50% chance of being selected, the prosecutors ultimately exercised their right to exclude jurors without giving reasons and excluded them.
