Golden Finance reported that a document written by some executives of the BlackRock asset management giant (including Samara Cohen, BlackRock's ETF chief investment officer, and Robert Mitchnick, head of digital assets) showed that BlackRock has noticed people's concerns about the spiraling US fiscal deficit of $35 trillion and attributed it to the growing interest of institutions in Bitcoin. The document outlined: "Growing concerns about the US federal deficit and debt situation both inside and outside the United States have increased the attractiveness of potential alternative reserve assets as a hedge against possible future events that affect the US dollar."
