According to ChainCatcher, Eddie Li, CEO of modular payment protocol AEON, attended the opening ceremony of the GameOn TON global game hackathon jointly held by AEON, TON Foundation, Nomad Capital, and TOP in Singapore on September 19. Eddie elaborated on the background of the hackathon and emphasized the important role of games in promoting the large-scale application of encryption technology. He said that AEON's underlying modular payment protocol will cooperate with the public chain as an intermediate layer, and at the same time provide a variety of payment functions for more developers and application payment scenarios to empower game monetization.

As the organizer of GameOnTON, AEON, together with partners such as TON Foundation, TOP, Nomad Capital and Alibaba Cloud, provided up to $4 million in bonuses and resource support for this hackathon. Eddie said that he hopes to attract global developers to participate through this three-month event, incubate more potential projects, and establish a closer cooperative relationship with developers.
